I lost my character for a bit when he flew off the screen lol (after running into the red eyed zombie(?) he flew off to the top right) and it took me a minute to figure out how to bring him back to the screen in order for me to progress.
The log circles stay on screen in the same spot in every scene (I wasn't sure what they were) and blocked out some stuff. And when I reached the top scene with the golden pedestal my character zoomed to the very top of the screen and got stuck.
Honestly the flying off and zooming of the character (that probably isn't intended to be part of the game) is REALLY funny lol
