The survivor vibe is there haha!
The systems seem well in-place, but as a spammer of the genre I would mostly suggest little tweaks about the multipliers that would give "me" a better experience, like:
- Make the hitbox friendlier (sometimes it feels unfair)
- About previous point, maybe leave the character on screen when game is over, so that we can see better that/how we got hit
- Make everything a bit faster? :D
These are really minor points

- hitbox I tried to go for pixel precision with a slight delay on collision (for performance and accuracy and lenience) but some obvious bugs popped out from it.
- Yeah, I was hoping for death animations, better particle effects for bullets, and the death play out on main character, but this was actually super crunched so I had to focus on a tiny MVP.. haha.
- Totally, hyper mode ftw!
I am still happy with what I made, considering I really didn’t spend a ton of time on it. Primarily because it does have a survivor vibe.. So much I would have done differently really, if I had more time for this gamejam <3
