I never played Go before, but this is interesting!

It's unfortunate that there's no AI as someone mentioned for solo-play.
I don't know about the original rules and how this variation impacts board evaluation for winning/losing position, based on a base Go basic AI algorithm, but maybe there was a few tricks to make an easy or medium one.

Like tinne26 mentioned, this is a really nice idea, but I feel like an AI could have been part of this game's tasks

I watched it with two players on stream (hi @sinisterstuf) and it was funny trying to figure out with chat :)

P.S: also, the transparent white and black on top of the board made it hard for me to see what was the actual color
