It's a good start so far, but I have some suggestions.
1. The amount of money you need to pay your abusive father is way too low compared to the cost of everything else. By the time you can afford any tools, let alone even consider buying gifts for the women, you don't care at all about your debt. It's just a matter of making sure you have some spare change left after everything you buy, and only on Wednesdays.
I think you should add more crop fields (maybe a total of about 5?) so that you can make more money selling crops (and also spend more time on it). Then you could increase the amount the father charges (maybe to 100 a week?), making that more of a challenge, while also speeding up the pace of the game toward buying tools and gifts.
2. The fact that the women will accept any gift but may gain no affection from it can be a major feel-bad if you buy the wrong gift. You just totally wasted like 150 or 200 coins, which is about a week of work.
If you want them to gain no affection, they should refuse the gift ("Sorry, but I can't take this." or something along those lines); alternatively, you should always get some affection from a gift, even if they don't like it much (their ambivalence could be clear from their response, such as, "Uh, gee... thanks? It's the thought that counts.") Also, there should be more clues as to who wants what gifts so that it doesn't just feel like guessing.
3. Is mining for gems actually a thing? Is that not implemented yet? I broke dozens of rocks for weeks and found nothing but gravel.
