Yeah, same here! I agree with mostly everything that you are saying. So far, MC feels the most unique to every other MC, most human like, and I absolutly love it.
The only thing is I, personally, really don’t want to be “dominating” Ren. I am only into the other way around (the soft dom energy from Ren is all I need in life :P) But I hope for people like me and you there would an option to be as intimate with Ren as we want, to fit both of our separate preferences 👏
yeaaah! the sub part is definitely my personal taste but tbh ren’s personality is so intriguing and compelling that it’s hard not to love his soft dom attitude 😩 (also the +18 scene was so well written?!)
it would be nice to have both a sub and dom route but i don’t know if that would be “ooc” for him or too hard to program, so we’ll see how it turns out :)

So Ren has two sides to him: his "Haruko" side and his "True" side. The creator has said that his "Haruko" side is much more attentive and submissive while his "True" side is much more assured and dominant. So essentially you can get "the best of both worlds" with Ren depending on which side he shows XD The creator has also mentioned that the game will mainly involve Ren being the one to top/dom the MC, but there will eventually be one optional scene (for now) where the MC can be the one to top/dom Ren instead :D
They've also talked about adding the option to choose between being the top/bottom (instead of having the one optional scene mentioned before), but they haven't implemented this idea yet because other game-related things need their attention.
TBH I'm so glad the creator decided to do this (and for free too?!), especially since the 18+ scene is completely optional/skippable. I personally like domming Ren (and whiney men in general) but having the option to switch the roles is very nice to have XD

i’m curious though, if the “true” ren is dominant, does that mean him subbing is just play pretend, like adopting that fake “haruko” personality? it’s probably because we don’t know much about him yet but i still don’t get if he genuinely enjoys being attentive and pleasing or it’s just a façade, or a mix of both maybe. such an interesting character for real :)
