Sorry about what happened with your official submission, that really sucks :(
I did play the working version you posted though! I think the graphics were cute, and the music in the opening was cool! The premise seems neat, I would like to see more of the story - but for purposes of the prototype I like how you ended it, gave me a good chuckle. Good job, I hope you keep working on this!
