I'm sorry that the mouse sensitivity was so strong, I will fix it in a future update! And I apologize for not properly explaining the mechanic. You have to hit one of the elemental buttons to start the roll, you are then locked in to using that elemental attack. You then hit any attack button again to end the roll and attack.
