Both a very simple goal and a very difficult goal when you throw in the ones adn how they screw it ALL up. Honestly I'm not sure if it's possible, and I feel like the description is bait but if it is it definitely did it's job in getting me playing longer than I would've without it. Maybe there really is a trick but I'm not sure to be completely honest.
It is a quite difficult game and I will say there's not a lot to soften that. It's mostly just a lot of "oh dang it I got a 1" moments. Rather than being right near the end and getting hit with one or having more build it up sometimes. Which to be fair with true randomness is not lhtat likely, but tweaking it a bit could be interesting.
That and maybe having different sides have more predictable outcomes possibly? For example right now it just randomizes where the cards go, it could be that you lean into each side doing something specific. Like how at the moment the 2 currently switches cards, the 4 could switch pairs etc., just to make it a bit more strategy based in how things are being handled. Compared to feeling entirely at the whims of rng.
