Sardonic Purgatorio!

This was a really fun experience for two reasons. One, it brought me back to my old days. Downloading and playing old RPG Maker 2000 games. There's something extremely enjoyable about the way RPG Maker lets you play with ideas and put them out in a very digestible form. But anyway, the second is that this game is one of those off-beat kind of ideas that work well in this kind of format. Playing as a sarcastic, disinterested shepherd for the flock of unrestful dead is a very fun overall experience. A few times I got tonal whiplash from the wisecracks of my character mixed with their own tragic backstory, but this is a shorter game that has a lot of ideas it wants to put out there. I would say it's forgivable and easy to adjust into.

So far, I've gotten the bad and good endings. I'm going to definitely go back and get the neutral ending, which just seems like it might be an interesting one based on what I've seen so far. Had a really good time with this!

I'm certainly happy to hear you liked the game! When starting to write the typical "its...its so cold...where am I.... I need to help everyone" I got just very bored very fast and thought "What if their savior is this vaguely annoyed adult that's dealing with their own sad backstory. Happy to hear it got across!!

I'm also happy to hear you're doing the neutral ending last!! It is, in my opinion, the best one. Especially after you've experienced the other two, let me know what you think!
