The Black Key Opening Credits: I very much enjoyed hearing the narration over the composition. I thought you had a great sense of hit points and cues within the story-telling in which I felt the change in emotion in the music at the perfect spots. I like the imagery in the bell tones that seem to ascend as your narration describes the prisoners being led up the winding cliff. Ooh I just got to the “Welcome to the Black Key” part and I LOVE the cello ostinato that starts immediately after. The trombone and violin combo at the end creates such a powerful and dark texture that takes the narration and throws you into the pit as you described to immerse the listener in the story. Very cool, creative, and unique effect!

The Escape: Your war drums/taikos sound so epic. As does the syncopated rhythm of the staccato strings and brass following the quiet section. In listening to this, I feel energized with pumping adrenaline and ready to find a way out! I wonder if having a repeat of the amped up section at the end after the calmer part would help round out the track and keep the intensity so that the listener is motivated to find the escape all the way to the end. I definitely like all the pieces you have here!

Overall: I really enjoy listening to the epicness of the tracks you create. The VoiceOver will be rated highly on creativity for me. It shows forethought in your story and in the compositional choice you made because of planning the story ahead of time. Overall great work and thank you for sharing!

Wow! Thank you!
