Really good idea. The way the world is designed adds a big strategic aspect: I realized you have to plan your route rather carefully, and use obstacles as helping stationary points / anchors!

Also, I agree with Zelveri, both on sound and art.

As a side note: I just wanted to point out that, judging from the description and your comments, there is a series of funny coincidences: we have the same kind of pseudonyms, we started making games at about the same time, we both participate as a challenge, we’re both openly critical and happy about our incomplete results in the description, we both decided not to let the player get into gratuitous trouble (you forbade impossible-jump situations, I forbade suicide in my two last games), we both designed levels in a rush at the end, and… we both cared about grass tiles (you added one such tile, I put three and a random proportion of these blades of grass to get displayed on the map). X)

I guess types of games may have types of creators. ;)

Anyway, that’s a noteworthy entry. As I think originality is paramount, I can only say this is a great proposition. Well done!

Thanks for your review and giving it such a thorough examination xD. Yeah, I guess so. I'll give your game a try as well.

such a thorough examination

You’re being nice here: rereading myself, I realize I took way more space for the side note rather than the proper review. :o

I'll give your game a try as well.

It’s too late now (I was so busy reviewing!), but you were not forced to reciprocate the testing; I prioritised entries with few votes, with a few exceptions such as… yours. XD
As point of interest on testing behaviour/strategy: I decided on also reviewing some of the games coming from people that tested entries with few votes (as a virtuous circle), and I found you through your comment under Dicey. ;)
