Interesting game mechanic with a neat narrative!

It was quite difficult to get the hang of at first - took me some time to realize the up and down keys don't seem to affect the jump direction (whoops), and getting a hold of how much force was needed for a certain jump was a challenge. 

Maybe some sort of trajectory graphic could help? I do suppose that would subtract from the difficulty of the game, though.

At least falling down wasn't too bad - Pie Man's rambling was pretty amusing!
