I will be frank, as an ADULT visual novel, this game suck, I hasn't turned me on once after 21 hours gameplay, the NSFW scenes are bland, their scenarios are very interesting but the art styles, the models, the dialogs, ....... are VERY, VERY repetitive, the only character that has changed this slightly is the Android and I must emphasize that it is mainly due to her nature as an android

On the other hand, as a purely visual novel, this is a fucking masterpiece. I tried this game with a lot of expectations, mainly because this is the highest rated adult game on itch.io, I expected a lot and I was disappointed with the NSWF scenes but I was blown away by the interactions between the characters, how they developed, how they started as obvious cliches and grown into real persons with real goals, values and personalities

I wasn't expected the game to address social issues like bullying, racism, slavery, ..... and surprisingly, those issues were portraited very good without causing cringy situations or making the player to feel uncomfortable ( unlike some triple-A games recently ), that's a very huge plus

Sorry you didn't like the sex content, it could certainly be better, but I am just one person and my focus is on the story content.

I think it's also important to get your genres correct. I believe you mean to say "As a porn game, this game sucks. It hasn't turned me on in 21 hours." And you would be right, this isn't a great porn game because it doesn't focus on porn. It's an Adult Visual Novel, which most Adults Only games are not.

Glad to hear you like the story bits though :)

Long story short. After investing a lot of time, I finally finished the current build.

At first, I had a great time, because it played very much like most dating games and I had a lot of fun, looking forward to the next time I could play.

However, after some time following the stories of all girls, the game turns into something completely different and focuses on politics, religion and corporations and even adds more heavy topics to slavery, like revolution, genocide and mental illness.

With all the heavy stuff going on, the story became a choir to read. Rarely nice moments happen in the end as everything gets overshadowed by all the problems the characters have. The story often gets extremely depressing or feels dull and is in the end not the same as it was for the first hours, where it was all about dating cute girls.

At the same time there is actually little romance. Romance scenes are quite short while drama keeps on going without an end, which is really sad.

I’m not sure if I want to play more of this game if it’s 95% drama and when something nice actually is happening I’m so depressed that I’m not in the mood for that anymore.

While the game is called Harem Hotel, there are not many harem activities in the end after completing the dating and romance part with the individual girls.

I personally loved the Adult content. I found it well drawn and well done, a bit unsettling with Ashley's first time.. (since guy too can be Raped) that said since the MC didn't care I guess it was fine. In RL though that was some messed up stuff.

If you want to see a game that is "NSFW bland" and repetitive then look at itty bitty kitty committee. That is how I would describe that. This game has lots and lots of choices and covers at least a few fetishes. If that's all you care about there is a game with no real "action" but it covers almost every fetish. Including vore and furry however there are literally nothing more then a picture representing you, a picture representing your enemy and lots of text. It's called lust doll Plus this game is far better for graphics and story that one is better for quantity of fetishes.
