I'm not familiar with the original work, but I enjoyed your VN. (the fish puns were a nice touch lol) ^^
The textbox could be a little less transparent as the text gets hard to read in the area over the fish bowl, but that's just a minor issue.
The CG is really nice, though! The inky lines remind me of sumi-e which emphasizes the Asian vibe of the game. 👌
