ah ok. Well I guess I can just start over again for now. Also I did the moocha route in a previous version but I don't see the cheats you mentioned in one of the posts, do I need to do moocha route again on this version?

You can try the latest 1.0.4 version. I forced it so that if you missed that night event, the event will be triggered the next free night time.
As for the cheat, no, that shouldn't be the case. If you have romanced Moocha before, the cheat screen should show up when you start the new playthrough and save data should be persistent across all versions.
