Very fun, and polished in all the right places. The game felt good all around, combat was satisfying and even though its jam art, the animations were smooth and cohesive.

Really my only criticism would be with game balance. I found it pretty easy to survive basically indefinitely, and only stopped after 30k points because the game was starting to slow down (lag) and it seemed there was no further difficulty progression. I think the melee attacker felt overpowered (in contrast to xtr3m3nerd, I actually thought the bigger armored characters were fairly weak!), and its easy to avoid giving enemies any chance to damage your spirit form.

*However*, I really liked that dying strategically was the main way to keep going, which felt very thematic. I had a lot of fun with this one.

Thanks for playing! Happy you liked the polish. You are totally right that the game stops getting harder after a minute. We wanted to fine tune balancing, but ran out of time. Planning to do it in the post jam version.
