i take it back, i miss-calculated, i simply multiplied the dollar rate by the euro rate, which is the wrong way to calculate it. i should have divided the eurto rate by 5 first, then i should have multiplied the result by the dollar rate.
really, 5 euros is $7.28 today, still on then high side for a story, but as it is a complete story, i do not begrudge a price being set, and its still lower that some unscrupulous devs are asking for their trash stories..
its devs who want money for an incomplete story that really piss me off. 
any price for BETA TESTING an incomplete game is wrong. Beta testing services should be paid for by the devs (or at most, a free service performed by fans), not the other way around. players should NEVER be paying for incomplete games.
those types of players that do pay for incomplete games, are basically simping for cartoons when it comes down to it, and doing nothing but destroying the VN industry, because devs take advantage of subscribers, dragging out development as long as possible to milk fans for all they can, or in some cases, outright misrepresent "its still being worked on" when in reality its an abandoned project that keeps getting re-named and listed as  anew game.. there are many examples of devs already  doing this both on itch and steam, and its not restricted to VNs, but VNs seem top be most affected of all the genres
