The little sprites are cute, but I was immediately overwhelmed with a very busy battle system. Whilst it was busy, it looked nicely designed, but I think you could do a far better job easing the player into it all. There are so many skills, moves, icons, status changes etc. - and it's just a bit much for the very first minute of your game.
Unfortunately, after the first battle, I took the HP buff and then I could no longer move at all on the map and could not progress. Shame, because I could see where it had the potential. It looked like you would take potential routes that weighed up risk/reward, but it wasn't to be for this version.
I hope you fix it and continue to work on it!
