Hey there AliceMisaki, I got your game for judging so here are some of my thoughts. There weren't too many horror games in my group, so as soon as I started the game I knew I was in for some interesting spooks. The art style is lovely, to the point that I wish there had been more areas to explore just so I could see more of the art (I know that wasn't doable with a deadline, but I can still dream). The gameplay was pretty simple but worked well with the story. The shadow enemies weren't difficult to dodge, but did add that extra fear since I wasn't sure exactly when another would appear.

I enjoyed the puzzles, even if they stumped me for a bit (mostly the candle placement one). But once I realized the trick I was pleased with myself and the game, which is what you want with a puzzle. Some of the puzzle controls were a bit clunky, but with more time I'm sure you can polish them up and make it all work better. Finding all the candles was difficult, especially since I didn't check a few tables from the right spot so I would think it was already cleared when in fact I needed to stand on the other side. I can understand wanting it to be a challenge, but I think it would be more fair if you had little candles visible so people don't have to just search every single spot and hope for the best.

Overall, this was a nice little demo that I wish went a bit further since I was enjoying the story. I'm sure that you'll be able to make a great horror game out of this concept now that you don't have to worry about the contest deadline, good luck!
