My highest score so far. Definitely playing more

Loved the spritework. Having the ground portals for enemies was great to know where they're spawning. However, because the corpses stay after you kill them, it becomes a little harder to see the other enemies which spawn. Mostly because even though the colour of the corpses is darker, it doesn't really contrast too well with the normal enemies.

The UI for a new wave looked cool, but it becomes a hindrance later since enemies still shoot at you even when the UI kind of blocks your vision. Enemies shooting you off screen was also a little annoying at times. I think maybe having enemies shoot at you only if they're more or less at the same height you're at would help with this.

Love how health is handled in the game though, getting hit activating berserk mode to help you since another immediate hit results in death. This results in things being even more tense since you're still on the offensive to try to regain your normal state. Makes me wonder if you could have enemies which require berserk mode to kill them.

Not really a fan of having to push WASD all at once to start the game XD. It's a good way of telling the player that all they'll need is WASD, but isn't really too intuitive. ( P.S Arrow keys also work during gameplay, but not during the opening, maybe mention them on your game page ? )

None the less, this was a very fun little run n gun

Thank you for all the feedback! Enemies didn't shoot offscreen before I reworked how camera works and then forget to change enemy shooting logic. Also that idea with enemies requiring berserk mode to kill them sounds interesting, need to try how it feels
