Interesting art and design to this one! I love the simple music and SE to really set the mood / atmosphere.

You might want to consider forcing a save (or at least suggesting one) as the player leaves the house, since if you're caught, it's a game over and the player is forced to start the game from the very beginning again, which can be frustrating, once you've already seen it before.

The super tall guys you're trying to avoid are super creepy -- only amplified by the droning music as you progress.

The filter near the end might be a little much. It fits with the atmosphere and the tone, but in terms of playability, it pushes the limits in not a great way. Similarly, the cave is REALLY dark. While realistic, I initially thought I'd loaded into a blank map and that it might've been a bug. I do love the effect on the flower, though!

A quality of life thing to consider, since you don't have to DO anything on the walk back between the cave and the house, maybe just transport the player back home? It's tedious to have to repeat that whole walk without even a repeat of the stealth challenge (though, also don't make the player do that backwards -- that's not going to be fun, either).

The ending is sad, but appropriate! Nice job tying everything up. :)
