This one's got some real nice pixel art, and I like the simplicity of it a lot. Though, yeah, it's hard to ignore what other comments said about difficulty. You have very little power over how to navigate past these skulls besides methodically taking them out and retreating and then getting lucky. A jump attack would do the game well since every moment of gameplay involves the combat, and for such a long jump arc the player should really be given some control. The perma-falling factor after messing up isn't terrible as a concept but combined with the inconsistency of making each jump it became a real hard punishment. Thankfully the game wasn't long enough for it to become really toxic. It also had some technical bugs like walking around after dying but a jam's a jam.
This was some good work though! And I think a bigger focus on the player's input and the gameplay itself could make a game like this really fun, as well as future entries.
(also were all assets made by you or were there teammates/etc?)
