Question because I am new to solo rpg - one you roll the d6 to hit a monster, if you roll 4+ do you automatically kill? Or do you have to roll again to see how many you hit. I can't equate the hearts with the rolls!

So to kill a troll, you need to hit it 3 times.

for each 4+ you inflict a wound.
