I honestly don't remember the answer to that, but my best guess is that this was my first visual novel, and I was learning Ren'Py on the job, so I may have left some extraneous stuff in there upon learning different ways of doing the same thing and finding some of them didn't work for me. I wouldn't be surprised if I accidentally do the same thing for NaNoRenO this year :P Thanks for playing it!
