I couldn't figure out how to use the spell but that may be because I was using Opera web browser, I like how the game looks and feels but I think it could be a bit faster

As you keep pressing the Spacebar the time slows down, then you can RightClick on the player and connect him via drag and drop with and ally (same goes for ally to ally Connenctions). Once you build up you connection you can press RightClick (without pressing the SpaceBar) to set a chain reaction following all the connections you build up.
