there's just .blend files.

The majority of engines use .OBJ and .gltf.

Ah, then yes. I use Unity and you can import .blend files so I never really had a way to test .obj files to make sure they exported correctly

ohhhh. No sweat. When godot 4 comes out it'll be able to do the same thing.

How is godot? I've never used it but it seems cool

it's pretty good if you're looking for an engine without a mega corporation pulling the strings. It's powerful right now And it's getting even better with version 4

i wouldn't recommend .obj for unity but .fbx

yea but fbx is proprietary and therefore next to impossible to implement in an open source engine.
