i've been following SDJ for the longest, and the expanded demo is soo so fun!! literally so crazy how different this version and the original demo are - hell, even the aspect ratio change spooked me the first time lol. and once again my little character has fallen right into jack's brightly colored, begloved hands... rest in pieces.
i also have a couple suggestions?
- i think the dialogue box takes up a little too much real estate on the screen - some cgs are pretty obscured by the big motifs and such. maybe it could be scaled down and made longer?
- multiple ppl have said this, but there's no options menu for sound and text speed, nor any way to save and load from the dialogue box! this makes replaying and trying new options a bit cumbersome. plus some of the sound effects (like the phone ringing in the beginning for example) are a bit too loud for me and i'd appreciate the ability to adjust it.
these might not be a priority just yet since its only a demo! i just wanted to give some QOL suggestions before development gets too intense. regardless, i'm so excited to play the full game !!!
