in the www/save folder you make a backup of the entire contents of the folder in WinRAR and then delete the contents of the folder.
if you want to pass the saves of an old version, extract the content in the www/save folder, but first do a test extracting only one save, to see if there is a bug or not.
if the save doesn't load or appears as corrupt, then you'll have to start all over from scratch.
