ok, so i just cleared all weird shit related saves from my appdata and from the game folder, and deleted all older version of the game, and re-started again.. skipped through the first few scenes and came straight up on the laurie/eve scene in the bathhouse, so im going to assume that its fixed, and perhaps the game was loading up some of the persistent data from an older game or something.
