As a "long time minesweeper" player with countless of hours into the original game I must say I enjoyed the challenge. I heard rumors of a time and after trying it out a bit I felt it was beatable (15 sec). I've not read all commments only the first page so my bad if something has been pointed out before, but some feedback.

The game plays out slightly different then the modern version of minesweeper which allows you to double tap certain unlocked blocks to reveal more of the board, this in combination with marking mines makes it much quicker to clear and another type of game. If you are used to playing like that (which I am) you need to rewire your muscle memory to adapt which took some time and still feels a bit awkward. The extra challenge in my mind addition to this is the transition to 3d which makes it harder to adapt while going at high speed, same with when the tanks spawn (he never reached the board for me though since I think you have to clear it before it comes to get a decent time). Another thing that's common with minesweeper is that the smiley is also a reset button of the board. Could also make sense to start the timer once you first click on the board instead of when you press "play again"

All in all a fun take of a great classic :) And nice music ^^

Thank you for your in-depth review! Happy to serve a connoisseur ;)

The double tapping was new to me. It could easily be added to the game. Of course the changes of the camera will make it more difficult (so many times I clicked the wrong square when the camera moved sideways for the tanks....), but I guess that's just part of the game. Starting the timer on the first click is obvious now that you mention it! Also an easy fix!

Now, 14 seconds is REALLY impressive!!! Great work getting that time! :D
