I like the overall idea and implementation, the graphics are really cute too :)

Some feedback:
- The main BGM get tiresome, so maybe reduce its volume or have a variety could be helpful.
- I think that the UX for the upgrades could be improved, maybe adding them on the center of the screen?
- Work a little bit more on the character look and animations
