(I am now in a rush to test as many games as possible to help, so please do not mind the cursory reviewing style.)

nice backgrounds in the title screen

clear ergonomic controls :)

Controls are QWERTY-only instead of layout-independent (I have an AZERTY keyboard), BUT arrow keys are enabled.

wow, destructible environment!! (fire hydrant) Which is a nice detail. :)

I like the sound effects.

Haha, nice explosion when losing! XD Also like the little flames in the bottom right for loading!

Not sure if this is normal, but if you punch in front of a passing-out enemy, you still hear the punching sound. X) Could be on purpose! (And works to deal damage to those that will get back on their feet?)

I like the transparent blinking to indicate that en enemy has been vanquished, as opposed to those that will get back up again. A lot of details / small mechanics from classic beat ’em ups indeed! :)

As others have already said, hard game! Maybe had a jumping mechanic, so that you can attack from a distance? Or/And throwing enemies onto others?

Exactly as PerIta Soft, under Firefox, my keyboard and mouse stop working when retrying!

Level 2: nice variety in background and music amongst levels. :)

Haha, I like how the cops’ caps stay horizontal when they fall!! XD I guess this was out of convenience for you, but funny anyway!

Using the block movement well is very helpful against the policemen.

Only now do I realize there are three punching animations for the hero! Nice.

Ah, some perspective problems? If you are not near the same depth/Z as an enemy, you can still hit him. Maybe the same is true for enemies’ punches and shots, which could explain partly why this is difficult…

Some variety: cops with one or two pistols! But does this really change gameplay, by the way?

Nice projection of enemies; I think this is caused by the second blow when chaining punches! So, the fighting mechanics are a bit subtle!

Level 3: ah, a mix of thugs and cops!

The gold chain thugs have a different punching animation: more damage?

Managed to beat level 3 on my first try! :D Getting better at it! I did not finish levels 1 and 2, but guess I could now (although I am short on real time!); I also think the ending for levels 1 and 2 might be the same as that of level 3!

Takeway: classic beat ’em up with already some details in combat mechanics. A bit hard, but manageable with experience, although with the cops, this essentially comes down to red light, green light. X) (By the way, this is not really important, but I would say the atmosphere/scenario leans a bit more towards an apocalyptic "Mad Max"-styled setting than noir, but I like it too. :)) Many nice details in the scenery, visuals, and sounds. And playability is not lacking, things are clear! I would just say that the connection to the constraint is a bit loose ("hey, bomb, so everything is temporary, dude" XD Funny, yet!).

I think this is the first beat ’em all I play in a game jam, and it was nice! :)
