cute game, way too hard, vary nice graphics, fun concept, has depth to it.
the charge shot option doesn't appear to work

Yeah, difficulty is something that's hard to gauge in a game like this. The charge shot should work, what button are you using for it?
probably was harder for me without the chargeshot.

Strange... I'll check it out to see. The charge shot does make it a bit easier. But that's coming from the guy who has been playing the game for 2 weeks probably 3 hours a day or more. So it's just hard😅
Charge shot is working, you can't use it until the last boss if that's why it wasn't working for you
