i don't quite understand the personality part in skills, what does the numbers means?

i know this is old but here anyways
[example: serious and comical. number go up = more serious. number go down = more comical.]
Basically, if the number goes UP, then you increased whatever is on the LEFT. If the number goes DOWN, then you increased whatever is on the RIGHT.
this is what i think anyways and it's consistent
