Add a function that it downloads the .swf file into the computer and runs it with a portable flash player.

This is not a great idea at all, and I’m pretty sure it will never be implemented. Flash player support was removed from most browsers for a reason.

It's just that there are several Flash games on the platform.

So it would be common to give some solution to play these games.

At least I gave my suggestion.

Suggestions are always welcome! I didn’t mean to discourage you.

It’s just there were security issues with Flash Player, which is why it had to be abandoned by the biggest browsers out there. I just can’t see Itch.io adding custom support for Flash games.

To be clear, I have no say in the matter, that’s just my opinion. This thread is still active, so admins can have a look at it and make their own decisions :)

I think Newgrounds does something with older Flash games, but I can't remember what it is. I think they have their own app or something similar...
