Writing: Full of rhyme and numbers there, and you got me with the scare.
Anyway, I like the writing style, and I like the guy saying things that rhyme with the numbers. And sometimes those things are a bit odd. But if you miss a line, since there isn’t a back button, you can’t quickly go back and hear it again. And you also can’t read it, because the lines aren’t being shown as text. If someone deaf were to try playing this one, they’d miss out on all the fun text.
Theme: Scary? More like jumpscary. There’s one jumpscare, and I should probably have turned down the volume in my headphones before it. I guess normalizing it to match the volume of the voice would have made it less scary, but yeah, making it as loud as it is.
Audio: The music in the bingo games sounds fun, and fits the game, but it does get a little bit boring if you play through everything multiple times. Different music for the three chapters (I mean, one for each of the three prizes) would have been more interesting. (I mean, in order to properly write feedback, I do play through the game multiple times, even if I don’t want to review everything, if there’s something somewhere I want to see again and I can’t skip things to reach that part quickly, I have to replay the whole thing up to that point.
The music in the last minigame is also pretty good, and probably won’t be playing long enough to get boring.
And I really like the voice acting. I kinda feel like you might have been a bit close to the microphone, but anyone who’s ever listened to voice chats or live events knows that it’s quite common for people to speak without knowing where to place the mouth and the microphone. So that actually suits the game.
Art: Looks kinda quickly-done, but maybe that’s on purpose. The colours do work well together, and the style is consistent throughout the VN.
Fun: Much new stuff under the sun. This is definitely quite fun. Well, the poetry is. The slowness of listening to everything every time, maybe not so fun.
Do consider making it so that if I click a number while a voice line is playing it counts as clicking it after it pays, maybe even allow me to skip a voice line while it’s playing (if you’re worried people might skip something by accident, maybe add a back button).
Also, I noticed I could click on other numbers than the ones being said. Not a big issue, just thought I’d mention it.
And the end minigame was fun but a bit tedious to have to play every time I wanted to re-see the jumpscare.
What I liked best: The fun poetry.
What I’d suggest changing: the lack of subtitles and/or inability to go back and re-hear lines.
