Nice job with this -- I played to the end and enjoyed it. I liked your concept with the three spells and the reviving of enemies to join your side, and the spells worked well. The revived enemies carried out their missions, which is a very cool mechanic. The meters worked nicely and the flower functions were good, too. The music was nicely chosen throughout. The game made me want to keep going when I died, which is great.
Some feedback I hope is helpful: (1) I almost gave up playing the game without finding the area with the goblins, because I walked past the entrance to that area several times without realizing it was an entrance. Perhaps using a more clear dirt path there, or using a different sprite for entrances to new screens (to distinguish from tree-walls), might be helpful. (2) The rapid fire of the archers in cardinal directions pushed me to approach them on an angle. I noticed that when I slowly approached them closely on a diagonal, they exited combat mode (stopped shooting arrows and wandered off), which allowed me to attack. So the AI may need a tweak there. (3) I was occasionally seeing lines between the tiles.
