The game and story is really really good, but the transparency on the text box is kind of an issue in scenes, half of the screen is darkened to the point that you can't really see what's going on in some dark/night time scenes

Yes, sorry. A major balancing act has been trying to make text visible on a transparent textbox. It's very difficult to do because some text colors are just impossible to read in some scenes. The only thing I could compromise with at the moment is to add a hide button, which is available, to show the rest of the scene behind the box. Sorry for the late reply!
