This still doesn't have working prestige. None of the menus other than 'upgrades' appear after 'ascending', so you can't use the gold, not even to get the bonus $50. Damn, I hoped coming back 7 months later it would be finished. That's a shame, since basically everything past Sniper Ball is far too weak to be worth using unless you can jump straight there, so half the content or more is just completely inaccessible.

Windows, Chrome, latest of each but this has been true across 7 months so version is very unlikely to matter. Downloading and importing my save doesn't help either.
