That was helpful indeed! Ive always had trouble with finding artwork to go with my music for sharing purposes but it never occured to me to use AI art, so simple and royalty free (unless it generates something that happens to be exactly someone elses work but that seems unlikely). I will def give it a try. I seriously wish i had the determination to do what you did and work on a soundtrack for a game that doesnt exist.
I hope to get to a point where music packs bring in enough passive income that I could commission an artist - but until then, AI is fun to mess with!
I'd encourage you to try - I'm sure you could create a project of your own! For perspective, it took me a few weeks to finish this project - I had to fit it in at night or in the early morning around my bill-paying work. I did it mainly to have a representation of my work that I could point to when applying for game composition gigs, and also because I wanted to practice working in the 16-bit / soundfont space. Hopefully, it will also provide some passive income as I build my reputation as a composer.
I found it helpful to first identify my goals (have some work online to point to + practice + passive income), then create something that pointed toward those goals. Maybe that would be a helpful way for you to get started on a task like this - and before you know it, you might be working on your second or third! :)
