I figured it out! If you press f10 again when you are in game, I simply pressed up on the arrow keys and the previous entry was written as,
$gamemap.interpreter.new_game_GetDebugSkills
after hitting enter with that in the command window it made my R key into the debug menu it used to be before this update. I haven't messed around with it much more than this so far but it appears to be the same debug menu we had.
