Both versions (Windows and Electra) start my SteamVR.
They both show white thumbnails for the videos, but the videos play.
I think Electra loops the videos better, not showing a failed to load frame.
Both show the notice that "Lighting needs to be rebuilt (1 unbuilt object)", "disable all screen messages to suppress."
Poppie's ride has two videos, one with sound, one without.
Both versions are closed when I exit SteamVR.
