You are wrong. I think. If you were trying to target the furry VN community, then you unfortunately failed. You absolutely should have included some tags in the description such as, well, "furry". A few more genre types like "intereactive-fiction" would work, too.
I've never even seen this VN, but now that I have I'm very much intrigued, just like from your other game which I've yet to play...
Targeting no one in specific is usually always a bad idea, if you want to be recognized, unless you know how to market your project and have something that stands out compared to others.
The problem with itch.io in general is, so many projects are getting released every day, nobody has the time to go through all of them. And even in the more niche (I think anyway?) category of VN this doesn't change. In fact, the amount of furry visual novels has increased by a pretty big margin and it's not stopping rather increasing even more.
I feel bad for you, I do, but you are by far not the only one who was hoping for more on this website. Most people like to turn their focus toward everything that stands out, in most instances that thing is flashy. Think of neon signs or news of a terrorist attack. Availability is also very important. For example, Lone Wolf Nano doesn't have an Android/mobile version. In this case, however, the issue lies probably in tags, unless nobody was really interested, then there couldn't have been a fix in the first place.
Don't get discouraged so soon. From what I can tell a lot of thought, creativity, and unique ideas went into your game. I will download both and then give constructive criticism. (Unless the games weren't coded in Ren'Py, because I only play on Android, sometimes with the JoiPlay emulator...)
If you happen to be discouraged, maybe you could draw inspiration from the countless (F)VN in my collections? (currently working on sorting them) A decent amount are well written and juggle interesting ideas. My personal favorites at the moment are called Pervader, Lunateria, Soulcreek, Four Way Junction and a few more – settled in the genres fantasy, slice-of-life, post-apokalyptic, slice-of-life respectively. There are other strong contenders as well. I hope you don't mind the furry aspect (too much)...
My best wishes to you and Merry Christmas in advance~!
