In fact, I noticed it on all female characters. The heads kind of look like they were photoshopped or copy/pasted onto the bodies.
As mentioned in my comments, I see this in more visual novels.
These are characters rendered in Daz3D Studio. I don't build them, only add them, pose them into a scene and then I render the images :)
