i am having an issue why am i not being able to import my save to the this new version im just getting a save from somewhere i dont even know about and the character has a completely different name
Old saves are not compatible with the new version, you have to use the included save in slot50 or start a new game. There is an item in your inventory to change your name
yes, the goal is always to have saves be compatible. Sometimes during development it happens that something changes and breaks old saves but we absolutely don't want that to be the norm
