Hey, I got this too and I was pretty  upset about it. (I ended up trying all these different ways to play the game, but none of them worked or were very reliable. They also took up lots of my storage.) I eventually ended up deleting Linux files to free up space, but then I went back to downloading it to try this all over again. Surprisingly, after I did all the complicated coding stuff, the sound was playing. I got really excited. I plan to play through the full game without closing it down- this is because once I do, I know that sound will stop working. I truly hope that this helps, even though I'm super late in replying to this comment.

It does. It's working on mine, so it should work on yours
