I think it’s really cool that the chord progression so accurately describes the emotion of what is being said over the radio chatter, especially in the second and third times it occurs. You do a good job of capturing the combination of lifelong/childhood excitement at reaching a goal with a small amount of anxiousness/nerves and a setting in a spacey environment.
