i like the game a lot so far, you folks have done great work. my only gripe is that the UI is super bare bones (even for a tech demo lol). i know that'll get fixed eventually, so i'm not worried about it. although it is pretty jarring to have nice-looking backgrounds and characters, and then a title screen that looks like it came from a 2006 flash game haha

edit: also, is the jeannie sequence hidden in the game, or is it planned to be added later? MC mentions it quite a few times, but i guess it hasn't been put in yet. nothing wrong with in medias res, but i feel like throwing in references to things people aren't privy to can be a bit confusing

Thanks for the compliment!

To address some of your concerns:

1) We do have more planned for the UI. For the past two years, I have been the interim programmer and I'm not well versed in C#/Unity enough to be able to dig down into the nuts and bolts required to make a nicer UI that we are wanting, coupled with a demanding full-time job. Now that we are transitioning in a full-time programmer and I'm going back to being the writer for Marci and Areum, we should start making gains on that in the later demos. :)

2) The intro scene is in the works. The two people who co-wrote it need to go back and revisit it. A lot of what has been guiding what scenes we are releasing has been what sprites have been done (Which you can find on our Discord!)

Hopefully this answers everything you wanted to know!

it certainly does, thanks for the response! good luck and godspeed on your game :)
