MAJOR bug: if you end a turn with Gobby in the top right corner, you can't do anything because the "end turn" buttons blocks selecting him again.
Otherwise I think it works pretty well. It could just do with item attributes being indicated without needing to swap equipment back and forth trying to spot the changes in stats. Also kind of weird that you need to click away to reveal the end turn button when you've run out of energy.
