Genuinely creepy, immersive, longing for more, yet the game has major flaws.
Based on the screenshots, I thought the game would be just a short experience with great details and atmosphere, but I was highly impressed with the quality, quantity and masterfully executed visuals. The game was a huge potential to be truly unique and popular, but as I said in the title of my review, it has major flaws.
Starting of with the menu, the lack of options leaves the player wondering what to do. In the beginning, you are provided with basics of how to use phone, gun and etc. Nevertheless, the use of med kit and other utilities still remain a mystery to me. That part really threw me off the game. With the addition of minor bugs and when I press "M key", the player gets hurt and dies, while the respawn button does not work.
Now, we are on to the best parts of the game - the lurking monsters. I felt tense during the gameplay. The sound design of the monster is top notch. The handling of the gun, the phone and overall mechanics are easy and super handy. The atmosphere around the town felt deserted and at the same time I felt something was following me all the time - another great win for the game.
In conclusion, I hope the game gets updated and wish the project best of luck. Enjoy the playthrough. Cheers!
